Lost Irish was founded by childhood friends Neil Sands and Tim Herlihy of Termonfeckin, Ireland, in partnership with Casa Lumbre. Drawing upon a decade of experience in the Irish whiskey world and a creative entrepreneurial spirit, the founders set out to craft a whiskey that reflects both the heritage of Irish whisky and a modern sense of wanderlust. Launched in late 2021, Lost Irish blends all three styles of Irish whiskey — grain, malt, and pot still — offering a flavour profile that is at once light, sweet, floral, rich, rounded, spicy, and creamy.

The whiskey is matured and finished across casks sourced from six continents, including Japanese Mizunara oak, South African brandy, Caribbean and Colombian rum casks, Australian tawny barrels, Sherry casks from Europe, and Bourbon casks from the U.S. This global maturation process is intended to honour the stories of the Irish diaspora — more than 70 million people of Irish descent now live around the globe.
